Uses of Saveto Putty Fine
- Use for leveling of minor surface undulations.
- Apply internally in dry conditions onto the walls
& ceilings.
- Use on concrete, plastered surfaces that are
smooth, precast concrete surfaces, and on
wood.
- Suitable for use over plastered surfaces with
Saveto products, gypsum boards, and wood
surfaces.
- Suitable for use over Vetonit Putty WR.

Substrate Preparation
The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose
material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc.
For previously painted surfaces, remove the old paint
before the application of Saveto Putty Fine.
Allow wet surfaces to dry completely before the putty
application.
Application
Generally, apply Saveto Putty Fine in single or double
coats.
Apply Saveto Putty Fine to the substrate by pressing
the putty firmly. Use a flat trowel to work the mixed
material to a smooth level.
Once the first coat dries, apply a second coat as
necessary.
After applying Saveto Putty Fine, it is recommended
to apply one coat of alkali-resistant primer followed by
two coats of acrylic emulsion paint or other suitable
coatings.
Curing
Saveto Putty Fine is self-curing and does not require
water treatment.
Cleaning
Clean all tools immediately after finishing with water. As
for the hardened materials, clean them mechanically.
Shelf Life & Storage
The original sealed container of Saveto Putty Fine has
a shelf life of 12 months, provided it is stored clear of
ground in a dry, shaded place between 5 oC up to 35oC.
Health & Safety
Avoid Saveto Putty Fine direct contact with eyes or
skin. It is recommended to use protective gloves and
goggles during application. Any skin contact should
be washed with soap & water. In case of eye irritation,
immediately wash with a copious amount of clean cold
water. Seek medical advice.
Saveto Putty Fine is non-flammable.
